Pie Maker Scrolls Recipes
Posted by Pie Maker Stuff on
Pastry scrolls in your pie maker are super-easy to make using frozen puff pastry sheets and pretty much any sweet or savoury filling you can think of. Ideal for lunchbox treats, snacks, afternoon or morning teas, or platter food for your next party. The general idea is pretty simple:
- Spread the filling over your sheet of pastry.
- Roll it up into a log and cut the log into 2-3cm thick slices.
- Cook the slices for 8-12 minutes in your pie maker.
If you prefer to make your own pastry just mix 1 cup self raising flour and 1 cup Greek Yoghurt in a large bowl and knead for several minutes, adding more flour if the mixture is too wet. Sprinkle extra flour on your bench top, and roll out the dough into a 30cm x 30cm rectangle.
